A time when Allah ﷻ is Shy + Have a Conversation with Allah ﷻ

1 Dhul Qa'dah I 1445 AH

Salaamun ‘Alaykum,

Welcome to today’s edition of the Daily Nurture.

“When the servant raises his hands to ask Allah for something good, Allah is shy to leave him empty-handed”.

_______

Whilst the above narration makes mention of raising the hands when supplicating to Allah, this isn’t a requirement of making du’a. You can ask from Allah in any form, and in any language.

Tip: Have a conversation with Allah. Many people feel they have no one to talk to or to turn to - talk to Allah! It’s in those moments where you just simply talk about your issues and problems, and you pour your heart out, that due to your sincerity, Allah will envelope you in His mercy, your du’as are accepted and your life changes. Try it! Who could be a better ‘therapist’ than Allah himself?

Ibn Abi Shaybah, al-Musannaf
