Salaamun ‘Alaykum,

Welcome to today’s edition of the Daily Nurture.

It is reported from Mu’awiyah ibn Qurrah that Mu’adh ibn Jabal, may Allah have mercy on him, said to his son:

“O my son! When you pray, pray as if you are going to pass on, do not think you are ever going to come back to it. And know, O my son, that the believer dies between two good deeds: a good deed he has sent forwards, and a good deed he has deferred for later”.
