Salaamun ‘Alaykum,
Welcome to today’s edition of the Daily Nurture.
“I would not be worried if I had the like of [Mount] Uhud in gold, provided I knew its exact measure and I pay its poor-due (zakat)” - i.e. encompassing and earning wealth is not an issue, as long as the requirement of zakat is fulfilled upon it.
