Miracle at the Death of Sulayman عليه السلام 🕌 🐜

Sayyidina Sulayman عليه السلام ruled all his life with justice and worship of Allah ﷻ. He had set aside a house in Bayt-al-Maqdis to worship there. No one was allowed to in during his hours of worship.

When he sensed that death was at hand, he walked towards Masjid al-Aqsa, leaning on his staff and entered the mihrab. He stood leaning on his staff attentive to Allah ﷻ. The angel of death took away his soul and his body stood supoprted on the staff for many days. neither man nor jinn realised he had passed away. No one dared to go to him in the mihrab.

Finally, insectes and worms consumed his staff and it broke down and his body fell onthe ground. It was then that his death was known. He was buried. Banu Isra’il participated in his funerak and on return everyone said:

سبحانك اللهم تؤتي الملك من تشاء وتنزع الملك ممن تشاء

[O Allah, You are without blemish. You give kingdom to whom You please and You take away kingdom from You please].
