Good character lies in three traits

قَالَ عَلِيُّ : حُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ فِي ثَلَاثِ خِصَالٍ : اجْتِنَابُ الْمَحَارِمِ وَطَلَبُ الْحَلَالِ وَالتَّوْسِعَةُ عَلَى الْعِيَالِ

‘Ali رضي الله تعالى عنه said:

Good character lies in three traits: avoiding that which is unlawful, seeking that which is lawful; and being generous with one’s family.
