أبو نعيم الأصفهاني ، حلية الأولياء

Abu Dharr al-Ghifari رضي الله تعالى عنه is reported to have said:

The right measure of supplication compare to one’s virtuous deeds should be like the right quantity of salt that is put in one’s food.
