عَنْ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ : ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ جَمَعَهُنَّ جَمَعَ الإِيْمَانَ : الإِنْصَافُ مِنْ نَفْسِكَ وَالإِنْفَاقُ مِنَ الإِقْتَارِ وَبَذْلُ السَّلامِ لِلْعَالَمِ
‘Ammar [ibn Yasir] رضي الله تعالى عنه is reported to have said:
Whoever combines three things has obtained faith: to rein in one’s ego, to spend on others even when in possession of very little, and to give the greeting of peace to everyone.
